Complete Instructions for Use 

STEP 1 — Prepare for Testing

• Wash your hands with soap and water.

• Open the kit and lay out all items: cassette, buffer tube, lancet (pricker), alcohol pad, and dropper (if included).

• Ensure the test cassette pouch is only opened when you are ready to begin.

STEP 2 — Clean the Finger

• Use the alcohol pad to disinfect the fingertip you will use for the sample.

• Allow the finger to air-dry for a few seconds.

STEP 3 — Collect the Blood Sample

• Twist or pull off the safety cap of the sterile lancet.

• Prick the side of the fingertip.

• Gently squeeze to form a drop of blood.

• Use the provided capillary tube/dropper to collect the required amount of blood.

STEP 4 — Add the Sample to the Cassette

• Open the test cassette and place it on a flat, clean surface.

• Add 1 drop of blood into the sample well marked "S".

STEP 5 — Add the Buffer Solution

• Add 2–3 drops of buffer into the same sample well or buffer well (depending on cassette design).

• Do not move the test until the result window begins to flow.

STEP 6 — Wait for Results

• Allow the cassette to run undisturbed.

• Read the results after 15 minutes.

• Do NOT read after 20 minutes, as results may be inaccurate.

RESULT INTERPRETATION

✔ NEGATIVE RESULT

Only one line at “C” (Control line) appears.

No line at “T”.

✔ POSITIVE RESULT

Two lines appear: one at “C” and one at “T” (even if faint).

A faint line is still positive.

✖ INVALID RESULT

• No line at “C”.

• Test must be repeated with a new cassette.

DISPOSAL

• Safely discard the lancet and used materials in a closed bin.

• Wash hands again after handling all items.
