Its 6-inch width makes it suitable for medium- to large-area padding such as lower legs, arms, and joints, ensuring even cushioning and reducing the risk of pressure sores and irritation.

It conforms easily to body contours, providing a smooth, protective layer for fracture casting and splinting.
